Bolt

Can someone tell which bolt this is? My brother took my truck to get an oil change and they told him it was missing one of these bolts. He took a picture but didn’t get the number and letters on top of the bolt. It’s a 2017 tacoma.

 

Why would they not tell him what it is missing from?

 

That’s not one I recognize. Did they say where it should be?

 

Looks like a bolt to hold the bottom of the bumper on.

 

Ive never done an oil change myself so I don’t know if taking a bolt out is even part of it so I guess I gotta ask my brother if they said anything else.

Not the pro skid access door?

 

Trd skid plate access door for the oil filter. There are 4 of them.

 

The shop is messing with you. They have a can of bolts, and hand them out for fun.

 

That looks like a torx bit... the Pro skid oil door has 4 allen head bolts... from the factory. May have been replaced, but doubtful.

 

Didn’t look quite right to me but was only thing in that area I could think of

 

You'd think the tech would at least explain where the bolt goes.
and
I'd expect my brother to ASK where the bolt goes.
