The selling price of that bumper was $250. I should have mentioned that earlier i suppose (though the thread was initially posted with help identifying the bumper). As I tried to get just a little more info he got super defensive. I posted the entirety of the conversation; nothing was omitted.

So who sells any aftermarket bumper for that price? I thought maybe he had a wrecked Taco he might have gotten at auction or something, but his answers got really sketchy really quickly.

And I was a member at Centennial Gun Club, and yeah, I was legitimately suggesting a location that was both safe and very accessible to both of us, and would be just maybe 10 minutes at most from him (while also telling him a little something about who he was dealing with). His demeanor changed even further at that point.

It looks like he immediately pulled the listing and I couldn't find our little friend who seems to have deleted his account as well.

It's odd that it's unpainted and rusted yet obviously had a fairlead installed so it's been used. Most folks would have at least rattle canned it but maybe it was somebody's prototype. I'm sure it's not light but it makes you wonder if he snagged it out of someone's yard who had a Tacoma sitting there and that's how he knows or thinks it came off a Tacoma. On the other hand he's got a trashy yard with junk tires and empty cans in the picture so maybe he's just a trashy person (befitting of his texts) and it was legitimately his. :notsure:
