Bit the bullet and bought a Pro grille, was very concerned it would screw up the camera angle but interestingly I don't really notice a difference. Really like the look it provides, even if they are a fairly common mod. Also put my new vanity plates on, most people probably won't understand the meaning but then again, crypto is becoming much more popular every day

Got the @victory4x4 arm rest molle panel in on Thursady. Installed today. Not really that difficult to install. I know it looks a little "off center," and it is just tbh. But overall, I like it

Center console panels are enroute. Hopefully be here next week by my days off midweek.

I'll be getting some sliders soon, but no real plans for mods other than that. I've done some cosmetic stuff, but I'm happy with the capability the truck came with (cause my skill is well below what this thing can already do)

Three mods this weekend. Rock sliders, Prinsu roof rack, front bed rail (not shown).

Cali Raised LED Step Rock Sliders. I was really torn on what brand and type to go with (step vs angled and tucked in). I am happy with how these look without the filler plates. I was afraid the gap was going to be huge but it is not. Had these installed at Cali Raised Offroad in Orange County. Not the greatest experience in that I had an appt at 11am and had to drive 90 minutes. Called at 9am before leaving to confirm and all was good. Got there are 10:45 and they said they were "running a little late." I thought that meant like 20-30 minutes. They finally go my Tacoma in at 2pm and I was out at 3:30. With traffic I got home at 6pm. Waste of a day and there is literally nothing to do around their shop. I could have installed them myself in the time I waited.

Happy with the end result. Not happy with the process.

The Prinsu I installed myself yesterday with a soft install. This morning I used blue loctite on all the threads.

i was gonna wait until next weekend to bother with it, but you motivated me. sort of a pain, as it needed some aluminum shims made up.

it'll work until my dual tip comes in and i need to cut down the exhaust .

Today I installed the Toyota power tail gate lock. The wire clips were a pain and I thought I was going mad because I couldn't find the body wire harness on the passenger side all the videos said to tie it up with. Turns out US SR SR5 don't have it because it doesn't have the bed outlet. I would have not know if not for this awesome group.

And the results of yesterdays mod the MattGecko LED under hood light kit. I hope I never need to repair the truck at night but even if you need to see to jump start someone this light is so nice to have.

Gotcha, thought this was added to the exhaust tip as opposed to a bolt on. Either way it looks good on your Taco and car.

Good luck! Spent a good bit of my Father’s Day attempting to install the OEM rack. This after receiving two shipped racks (from a dealership), both of which lacked the hardware kit. Finally got a hardware kit shipped separately and had a little time for the install today. Was going fairly well until I went to thread the bolt for the right hand swing arm…and there was nothing to thread it into (note the empty square space below). WTF
    08D6F33B-2026-47B9-A2E9-0D363CB87AA1.jpg 91AB8F26-FD61-444A-9281-324A7A66E6EA.jpg
After consulting the left hand side of the rack (see below), looks like a square nut and o-ring spacer should have been in the empty slot and held in place by those retaining clips.
    8E1C74A3-43C1-4D15-AA07-88441055F934.jpg
So uninstall the right hand side of the rack. The nut is nowhere to be found inside rack or in the shipping box. Make a run to the hardware store to see if they happen to have anything that will work…no joy. Think about trying to jury rig something and decide better given that the thing will be used to hold items at speed on the highway.

Remove the rack, spend time stripping the foam washers and supplemental RTV (that has now set), apply silicone tape over the holes I had to make in the factory seals, and reinstall the original weather stripping. Luckily I didn’t break the weather stripping retaining ditch clips off as the Toyota rack installation instructions indicated (why?).

So spent the afternoon sweating my ass off in the garage and am not sure if or what other parts I might be missing at this point. I mean this was supposed to be a pre-assembled component…not even part of the hardware kit. Where is the quality control on these things? Where is the quality in general? And why do I still want one?

Test fitted an All-Pro P/N 3510-AP spindle gusset today. Wheel clearance was a risk, because my wheels measured to 5.0" backspacing while instructions said 4.75" max, but being 17"s probably helped.

So sorry to hear this. You would think going with the OEM roof rack you wouldn't have these problems. I am still stuck on what roof rack I want to get. I'll wait it out until it becomes clear. But this is super disappointing to hear as I was leaning for the OEM roof rack on the roof and then the Leitner system for the bed.

I know that can be really frustrating ... so sorry to hear that.
