Thanks .....I’m always working on it to keep it in good shape but I only detail the interior once a year. It’s a little work beast that gathers firewood hauls deer out of the bush etc. I don’t go wheeling purposely just for the sake of wheeling..... I get that fix at work on ATVs, 2013 Tundra, snowmobiles and tractors!

I don’t beat it to hard but certainly use it and it is very nimble in tight quarters. My main concern is rust prevention on the 20 year old frame and that takes a lot of my time. Pretty sure I’m not going to drive it in any salt conditions moving forward at this point as she deserves the winters off. The picture below is the rear quarter panel after my wheel well rebuild.

What ball joint kit do you have? I found the lower ball joints brutal as well but I used a 10 ton press….looking into investing into a decent ball joint press. My princess auto one is not cutting it.

The less stretch you have - the more shock load you will transfer to the shaft to "pop" it out

Do they still include a flimsy bag with the compressor? I keep mine in a $15 Milwaukee tool bag. Tight squeeze but it fits. I also changed the air chuck to the quick-connect type.

I think they are the same numbers, but I definitely recommend more research, than taking my word for it.

Either way, I've always used Amazon LED bulbs in my vehicles. At worst case some you might get 3/10 dead in a package, or they start flickering after 6-12 months but they are 1/3 the price so no complaints from me.

From the little bit of looking around I have done... the only difference is the light bulb in the center of the roof. A little bit of fiddling and they will work. Gonna order them up. Thanks

Saw this little Kei truck today at CrappyTire. Subaru Sambar, only ever seen them in pick-up truck mode, not seen one in mass people carrier mode.

Test fitted an All-Pro P/N 3510-AP spindle gusset today. Wheel clearance was a risk, because my wheels measured to 5.0" backspacing while instructions said 4.75" max, but being 17"s probably helped.

@tacoma16 you ran SPC control arms with spindle gussets right? Did you source a low-profile castle nut for the ball joint?
