3" lift on 33 inch Nitto's with 18" Fuel wheels. N-Fab step bars. Husky floor liners.
My Entune Plus lost its volume so I to am looking for aftermarket head unit as well. I looked on Crutchfield but most of them are sold out. I wanted to get everything at one time. Head unit and wire harnesses and bezel but now I may have to get the head unit someplace else and get the accessory's from Crutchfield. I will follow your thread here to help me decide which unit I want to go with as well.

Caution with in dash nav. Be sure you can do lifetime updates for free like Garmin portable units have.

Either CarPlay or Android equipped units would at least let your smart phone display on the screen. Just remember that if you off road out of cell service you should download maps in advance.

Of course you don't have that issue with a good portable unit that is sat. based, or with reliable paper maps. :D

1.You really don't need Nav... Unless you're in or plan on frequenting rural areas with poor/no cell service.
CarPlay/Android auto has you covered if you have cell coverage.

    2. Budget- Establish your budget for a Headunit and add around $200-$400 for parts and labor for install.
If you want xm its about another $50 for the xm "module" or you can just use the XM app that goes thru CarPlay.

    3. Double Din or Huge Screen?

Typed all this crap and just noticed the previous comment... oh well....
