The cables in the back for the most part are like any other head unit I imagine you could 2nd hand wiring harness and a after market wiring harness for the 07 to make it plug and play.

Unless you're getting a good deal on it, I would pass. Its really not that great of a head unit. The GPS is useless. Takes forever to put a route in, Google maps does a way better job at finding the quickest route. The audio quality isn't as bad as others say. It just doesn't have as much power as as an after market one.

Also if you unplug the sat radio box that sits under it, the sat radio no longer shows up when you toggle between Bluetooth, FM etc.

That's great advice the issue i am having is that the suppliers are out of product and i am not really looking for a cheap china brand, i have a head unit now that is ok however the screen freezes up unless you run the AC full cold then it will start working. CD GPS BT steering wheel works but no xm. I would reall like XM. Thanks for the response, and if you can reccomend a head unit that would be awesome.

Is the fan dead on it? Changing the fan could be an option assuming it has one.

There are so many option for head units. So many features. Crutchfield.com gives you all required installation hardware for free. You can sort by features, see what fits your vehicle, etc.

I have an '07 and I wanted a head unit with Sirius XM. I bought the Sirius adapter and antenna from Amazon and called Crutchfield about the head unit. The guy put together a package: head unit is Jensen CAR689 with all the connectors and dash cover and it works great! My steering wheel controls work perfectly. It has USB connections for Apple car play and Android auto, so you can connect your phone for GPS and it shows on head unit. XM on screen works like factory in my 2016 Maxima.
Crutchfield did me right. I recommend calling them.
