If you end up taking off the inner fender liners it’s probably best to reroute your air intake.

I knew I was getting a lot of water and mud in my intake tube but didn't know just how much until I pulled out my fender liner and removed the factory tube. This is not from water crossings but from quick runs through deep mud holes. I also like the fact that I'm not sucking in all the trail dust from the guy in front of me. On the road my intake air temps dropped dramatically. Cold air is better than hot.20190313_163518.jpg 20190313_163531.jpg 20190313_163527.jpg 20190313_163543.jpg

Would removing the ditch light bracket make it easier? You don’t need to remove your fenders to install.

Im using Rago Fab ditch light brackets and they don’t get in the way. They were installed in after the snorkel. I also want to say they make a CB antenna attachment for the brackets as well.

I’m running both a ditch light and cb antennas on my brackets. Rago’s move with the hood, I don’t like that. I needed to remove the fenders for other reasons. Nothing about my setup is common, so as expected nothing is easy.

This is the custom setup I originally made that needed to be modified for the snorkel.

It’s not much, but it’s an honest living. WTX farmlands have an abundance of rain and multitudes of paved water crossings. This one was about 1.5’ and static with a road hazard. I was hoping to get a little hydroplane action but the pizza cutters did their job. Eventually found my rig.

I see everyone else's template is paper with directions on it. Mine just came with a slightly mangled cardboard template.

FYI guys, some people were asking me so I made another batch!

I have all 3 designs back in stock for the snorkel badge.

    Gray TRD
    Red TRD
    Stripes TRD

its $15 shipped in the US for the badge, they are 3D domed with clear resin so its an actual badge.

Which eBay seller is everyone getting the snorkel from? I see multiple sellers on eBay, but after reviewing the pictures they post, I do not see the one with the brass nuts.

No problemo. I got a rivnut gun from harbor freight that was surprisingly really good quality, along with some silicone, makes it so I can take the mount on and off with ease like previously done on this thread, instead of using self tappers.
