Quit my job and living out of my truck this summer. No plans, just looking for cool places to explore, fish to catch, and mountain bike trails.

Currently planning on spending a lot of my time in MT, WY, and ID, but will probably venture further, and hopefully can make it to Canada.

If anyone wants to show me their local mtb trails or wheeling/camping spots I'm always game.

Couple pics so far. Just about a week in and spent most of my time in Eastern ID.

    Likewise!

Thanks again for the shuttle up teton, and adding a bike race on to the list of summer activities was awesome!

Rode mill creek trail - awesome! And got some more fishing in.

Then headed further north, Currently in Dillon MT, probably spend a few days in the area seeing what I can find.

Nope, but all the poly bushings and lots of dust so far have made the truck awfully squeaky.

    Ha! Fun.

You should also put blue lake and the boulder river on your list. Pretty sure you could burn a week fishing the river. Then the lake at the end is gorgeous and has cuts in it. Plus the summit to monument peak is pretty dope.

Was just there this weekend. Trail is fun bit if a tricky spot in it now but with your locker you'll be fine. Didn't summit this go around but did in 2018. It's a huff but quite a nice view.

Boulder River is on the list. Tried to make it there last year on my trip out this way but ran out of time.

Hike can't be much worse than the one I did off trail to a lake in the Pioneers the other day. Wish I had the f'ing pictures. I caught one of the best cutts I ever have with an incredible backdrop. Oh well. Guess I'll just need to go back.

No go on phone yesterday. Hopefully sorting that out right now and then back onto the adventures.

Its just steep. Pretty short really. Just a lot of up hill starting at 9500' haha But super worth it, you'll be fine.

Bummer man. Hope you get it sorted.

might actually shoot Raw photos I think. Then you can do full on editing in LR/Photo shop. I tried that out this weekend with my Pixel 4a. Worked pretty good honestly.

Can you recover your photos from the old phone from a memory card or are they on internal storage?

I'd buy a 1 or 2-pound bag of rice right now and put your old phone in there for a week or two and then pull it out to see if plugging it in awakens it.

That ship has sailed. Got a decent amount on 'trade in' towards my new phone. They were on internal storage. All backed up to google except the last dozen or so.

RAW has been around for awhile on phones. My S7 could do it. I preferred that phone to my Pixel 3xl. I liked the manual mode it had for the camera and it had an SD card slot. I'd love to get a new phone just for the camera but just can't justify that price tag. Also why I don't have a real camera...

I like my OG Pixel overall as a phone. Camera wasn't as nice but the form factor was better. It also did RAW just never used it.

Still doesn't replace a real camera IMO but does good if you use some of the new AI tool in Adobe. Super resolution helps a lot.

Well, day wasn't a total waste. Got the new phone setup, a little work done, and still got a 10 mile ride in on the CDT.

And then found a camp with full bars of 4g and I can only kinda hear the interstate. #roughingit
