    Hey all!

I have been using this website in the past years to help me do any maintenance required or modifications I wanted to do on my Tacoma. I have recently run into a wall with a current fix I am trying to do and wanted to get some tips from anyone else so I don't mess anything up.

In the past 6 months, my a/c has stopped operating with the climate control dial set on high, and after much research on this, I have replaced the blower motor resistor as noted by many. This did not fix the problem so I decided to pull the dash module apart and see what I could find.

The images listed are not mine, but display the exact kind of damage on my end. F0994C4A-DD1F-4E29-9EB7-9EB49A1A5178.jpg 2jkdBSIh.jpg

I have since ordered a new Climate controller and electrical housing connector, part #90980-11615.

FINALLY, the main question that I have is, the electrical housing I ordered that I am trying to replace, listed in the first photo above ^ will be received as a connector and will not have any wires pigtailed out of it or preinstalled, what would be the best route to getting it all connected and plugged into my new Climate Control Module and help me out in this Arizona Heat?

    Thanks,

To do it right, you need to de-pin the connector, and at a minimum splice/solder a new pin.
    I believe the correct part# for the pin is - # 82998-12380

I got this information from the link here: It took some time to find it. Don’t take my word for the part # being correct.
I just try my best to help out around here when I can:thumbsup:

There will likely be someone around sooner or later than knows more than I do.
Maybe a tech or one of the electrical gurus here will help you out.
BTW, the link above also has the information on how to make the repairs to the connector and pin.
