Yeah the rest of the quote above said the new version (528) tapers through the hub bore for the Enkei cap - which matches what you are finding.

I've taken the dust covers off on other cars before, usually just a small pry bar or chisel/putty knife to get in the seat to start to get the cap to pull and just work around the diameter. I think you have the right idea if you want to make the new version work.

Straight off my Oakos invoice. I can confirm they are hub centric, no spacer needed.

Yeah its weird the new 16's seem to have the issue, since the 17's have the same hub bore.

That looks great! Any pictures with the whole truck from further back?

Any photos of how you mated home to the push through caps?
    Thanks!

With the 16x8 108.6mm bore are hub rings recommended? I don’t want to run center caps.

Leaning into ordering the small bore versions and removing/making dust caps.

I've ran RPF1's on previous cars with hub rings and it didnt really make a difference with or without them. The larger bore versions are lug centric.

I didn't take any pictures of the process but others have done it before with threads in here.

How's the highway noise on those Wildpeaks compared to stock?

They are very quiet. I only have about 15k on them.

Ended up going with 17's on 265/70/17. Now to level it out.

I ordered 5 of these from Japan but went a different route on my center caps. Will sell them for half of what I paid to get them out of my garage ($125).

Apologies on the delay, I've been pretty busy lately. I finally got around to prying the dust covers off and test fitting the wheels, and with the covers off, everything fits perfectly: IMG_2677.jpg
I've also designed some dust covers and 3D printed one for testing purposes--it still needs a bit more refinement and I had to disappear for the weekend, but I'll get them fitted shortly! I have verified that they fit inside the wheels with the Enkei center caps, so things should look as originally intended.

If there's enough interest, I'm happy to build a few extra sets at a reasonable price.

I may have missed it if you posted this earlier in the thread but what setup are you running (tire/rim size)?
    Looks great!!

Got the new dust covers on and everything (including the center caps) fit perfectly!

I will say that even though everything is the same size as OEM (265/70R16), it looks much smaller? Any chance of doing 285/75R16 on the stock suspension, or will it be rubbing everywhere?

Got side swiped the other day and thank goodness for a lift and decent size tires. Had no frame or body damage. My rim did take one for the team. Now onto a replacement.
