Wouldn't that be considered a hit and run?

If he had side swiped an unattended police car and they had video evidence much like yours, you know they would nail that driver for a hit and run.

I filed a police report for insurance purposes. Once it was approved i sent everything i had to the officer, video, pics of their truck, etc. I haven't heard back yet but we'll see.

I did speak to the Roofing Company and they are going to cover the repairs/work with my insurance. They did ask me to get another estimate but I shut that down real quick.

Are you filing through their insurance company or yours?

Watch what they say when you tell them you are going to go to Leif's. :D

Alright brothers, here are the details of our next two meet ups.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Post Canyon OHV
    Saturday July 10th
10:45 AM Meet up time @ Hood River Walmart parking lot
2700 Wasco St, Hood River, OR 97031
Rolling out at 11 AM sharp
    GMRS Channel 15

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This will be the first ever Fellowship non wheeling meet up. All credit for the initial idea goes to @Toywoodsguy82. I believe he still has something in the works in an indoor venue, and I am looking forward to that event when he is ready. Thank you @Toywoodsguy82 :D

Fellowship of PNW Tacomas first potluck!
    Woodstock Park
    Saturday July 17th
SE 47th Ave & Steele St, Portland, OR 97206
12-4 (reservation will be all day, so people can stay or show up whenever they want)
    Potluck
BYOB (Beer / wine only - per park rules)
    Rain or shine

I'm bringing a grill, burgers, hot dogs, buns, basic condiments, paper plates, and napkins. If you have dietary restrictions, but sure to accommodate yourself.

Bring some yard games, cornhole, whatever else ya got. Nothing that requires stakes (park rules)

Please respond to the poll if you are going to come, or may be coming. That will enable me to bring enough burgers / dogs for everyone.

Woodstock has plenty of street parking in sight of the picnic area, on SE Steele. There is an unfenced off leash dog park very close to the area. There is also a smallish playground nearby.

At this point if you want a vaccine you have one. I will not be wearing a mask, and I don't expect anyone else to. Mentioning this in case this makes you uncomfortable. This is a potluck, so that means shared food, etc. Be ok with that.

As always with events I plan, I want this to be a welcoming event for everyone. Please come to have a good time, do your best to get along with everyone and don't be that drunk guy.

Donations will be accepted to help cover the cost of hosting the event. If there is any excess they will be used for future events.

I put the wrong time on the July 10th meet up time. Corrected now. 10:45 am meet, 11am roll out.

Hood River has my favorite sub shop. New York City Subs. They don't open until 10, and I gotta get my fix before heading out. Highly recommend checking them out if you have never tried em.

Aside from being a good organizer you seem to have impeccable taste. I think I'll try to meet you fine folks on July 10th. I have to figure out some camping details around that weekend so I'm not entirely positive family schedules will let me be there. But I'm more likely than not and will confirm once my plans settle in.

    Of course! :D

Completely missed that, thank you! Poll won't let me change the title. I asked the mods if they could. If not I will have to delete it and repost it.

Test print on the Fellowship vinyl decal just shipped. Size ended up being 8.000" x 3.440". Sticker place said that was the smallest they could print it and it come out correctly.

Cannot wait to see how it comes out. Assuming it looks good, I will be ordering a batch of 50 at that size. Maybe with luck they could be done before the potluck. We shall see.

Anyone here have feedback/advice with upper ball joint replacement?

    Shameless plug for @Astr0Aar0n https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/wa-2021-summer-bdr-run.711271/page-10#post-25860800

I think I came out better than he did, ask him about his bumper

I'm just wondering if there's anything extra or w/e I should do/know before I go buy a $40 part from O'Reilly's and start wrenching...

also if anyone has never done "suspension" work, and wants to learn/help/sit around and drink beer/bs lmk :plane:

EDIT: It doesn't look bad, but the squeaking is absolutely obnoxious, plus it started rubbing more than it used to; might be additional suspension work necessary, but we'll see

Might look at finding a serviceable upper ball joint while your at it. I believe you need a ball joint press and then make sure you get an alignment after it’s replaced.

These came out great. Gonna order 50 of them tonight. They should be here in time for the potluck. I can also mail them out to anyone that wants to one but won't be able to pick up in person.
