I brought my wireless earbuds home from work to charge them and thought let’s see if they’ll charge in the truck. Sure enough it works

Let me know if you ever figure out your DRL issue. Mine quit working after changing headlights too.

There should only be one plug from the passenger side the goes unused. Where my DRLs wouldn't come on I had the the small single wire on the driver side backwards and once I flipped that they worked. Also good to note that I have an SR5 so the wiring may be a little different.

Ok. That explains it. I saw one on the freeway a few weeks ago. Was not impressed.

Thanks to Prime Day I am now panhandling to recover, maybe I should start a gofundme account as well. Ordered quite a bit of car care products, bed lights and now trying to decide on a great medic/trauma bag for the Taco. I have one in my other car that is loaded with some excellent goodies I had in my previous career so at least trying to match kit and contents for the typical stuff I come across, you'd be surprised (open femur fractures and tons of accidents). What bags and contents do yall carry?

Now with a different profession I am unable to get all the latest and greatest gadgets as well supplies. Any medics out there care to donate?

Guess now is as good a time to make my first post; I've been lurking for the last few months.

I bought a used 2017 TRD Sport about a year and a half ago and really love it. I'll update with some pics later and list off all the low end (a.k.a. cheap) mods/additions i've done. But i feel the first mod may have been the most important:

Griselda got some dancin' shoes. She’s a bit more ready for some light off-roading. BFG 185/70/17 R121 E1 (they didnt have any C's in stock) on Black Rhino Armory Sierra 17" +12 offset

Now i gotta do some work. Remove Air Dam, Remove Front Mud flaps, and Relocate front outside fender liner bolt (forward)

also added some Prinsu Ridgeline Handles to the Cab Rack for some leverage when putting stuff up/taking stuff down.

That's what I'm here for, the mods and the gear.
I'm using my "never stolen, just borrowed" bag from my previous career. Typical gear includes cat tourniquets, quick clot bandages, splints, ace bandages, as well as airway/breathing devices. The only "unique" equipment is the traction splint.

Very nice. True story, came upon a motorcycle accident and guy had open femur fracture, bike all mangled up, helmet smashed up and raining. Had my medic bag and rushed to the scene although there were a few people there and offered my assistance. First question was, as the guy was sitting up and moving around, was "Should he be in c-spine stabilization"? Lady turned and said "I'm an ER nurse and he's been cleared". So I asked if she cleared him in the field without an xray and how she came to this, her response was that he is not complaining of any neck pain. "No shit" I said, "of course he isn't feeling pain because his bone is protruding from his skin and bleeding". She was immediately relieved of her expert duties and I enlisted the help of another medic on scene prior to EMS and Fire arrival. She really didnt do jack, no info obtained or anything, glad I had bag with emergency blanket to keep him warm as he was going into shock and was able to give his medical history to EMS/Fire rescue, I really think she was lying and trying to play hero until she got called out. Just frustrating really.
