I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction? I have a 2021 Sport DCLB and I’m looking at purchasing gears. How do I tell what axel size and gear ratio I currently have?

    Thanks
    Mike

    Hi Mike.

2021 Tacomas have two different gear ratios. 4.30 if you have a manual or 3.909 if you have an automatic.
The only automatic with the 4.30 is the 4 cylinder automatic.

For 2016+ Tacoma, for front and rear gearing options, they all have 8" differentials (not sure if that is what you meant by axle size) exluding the TRD OFF ROAD model with e-locker which has an 8.9" differential for the rear axle only.
