I used to be in Quality control and then was an in Emissions & Resin chemistry/testing for ROSEBURG , flew up to the “zoo” a lot to help the guys up there .

Heh... Yeah, way way east. Where it's loads of nothing and it's 8 hours away.

I haven't hunted in a million years, but half the fun is the view and without one it's just meh.

 

back when I did research pre covid to see if I wanted to travel down and hunt Montana it looked like the southern part of the state in the rockies area there would be a decent chance of drawing. be a nice view in that area and some hunting opportunity. Not sure what the public land availability is in that area.

I’d be glad to show up in buckskins looking like a Jeremiah Johnson wannabe and go wander the mountains .. we don’t get much of that this way . Our “mountain “ is 500 ft elev.
