Welder dude called me and is already started on building a better mousetrap

 

The Glacier trip has been cancelled.

I couldn't risk spending $2,000+ to go and not be able to get past the front gate and last night was the latest we could cancel it and get a full refund so we're only out the $35 park pass.

In a flurry of "where do we want to go?" we decided on Mackinaw City/Mackinac Island. Should be fun.

Now I need to decide if I want to just rent bikes out there or go through the (potential) headache of bringing and securing our own.

I think rental sounds like a good option.

 

Often I find myself questioning if I'm that big of a (insert whatever) to work with. I think because on one of my required yearly development plans, my supervisor said I need to get along better with others. This was after 10 years here and never a issue with anyone else. I try to train people well for example clean these taper mating surfaces off thoroughly every time. This totally unacceptable or I'm just a donkey?

Don't lose any sleep over it. People today are too overly sensitive; "Ohhhh, he raised his voice to me!" "Yes. Yes, I did. You were about to <insert appropriate stupid act here>" Train people the best way you know how, and if they don't invite you out for beers on Friday? Oh well.
