Selling a set of medium duty (EL095R) Dakar Leaf Springs for 05+ Tacomas. They were purchased in 12/2/2019 and have about 8k street miles on them. I bought them to gain lift and upgrade my suspension but these ended up being too much for my stock truck since I don't tow or haul.

They are in great condition and include the bushing kit that Headstrong Offroad installs. I will also include a brand new set of icon extended ubolts if desired.

I am located in Orange County, CA and prefer to sell local. I can ship at additional cost but would rather not as it's expensive.

$550 for the leafs, preinstalled bushing kit, new Icon ubolts

Yes I still have them. In all honesty, I would not recommend these for a stock weight taco. They are excellent if you have weight or tow/haul. This is the "medium duty" leaf pack and it rode stiff in my opinion on a stock weight, unloaded truck.

I've got a camper shell and about 200 pounds of stuff always in that pack. Wondering if the medium is enough for that or if I should go heavy duty. Did you have to put new shocks on for this pack I've got the bilstein 5100s on right now

Not sure how heavy camper shells are, but I assume 100ish lbs? If you have about 300lbs in the back then the medium duty is plenty. Heavy duty wold ride terrible unless you have way more weight. I am running extended length shocks since these leafs provide about 2-2.5in of lift for our trucks. The Bilstein RCD B110 are an extended shock and would be perfect with this leaf pack.

You can pull the third (?) spring from the pack and make the ride softer.

True but then you start losing lift

It’s not unlikely that if the ride is too harsh with dakars, the truck is also lifted higher than spec’d for the springs. So losing a half inch or and inch of lift might not be a big deal. And you can always add it back with a shim or a 1” block and keep the soft ride.

These gave me about 2- 2.25 inches of rear lift. To be fair, the ride on my truck wasn't overly harsh, but it was definitely more spring than I needed. I have no extra weight and these are meant for around 300lbs over stock. I'm pretty picky about my ride and I wanted a softer spring.

Which one are you planning to go to? I’m trying to figure out which aftermarket springs will provide a good ride without added weight.

I went with Icon RXTs on option 1. I'm pretty happy with them so far. But Ive heard deavers are a very nice ride for stock weight
