So far I’ve seen a nice $7,500 at a dealer near me on a Pro. Is it any worse out on the west?

What's worse is that they're using a photo of an SR/SR5

Since the ones below it are priced Normal, I’m gonna guess the first one might be optioned with some aftermarket stuff. There was one I saw locally with a $15,000 lift and trd wheels.

there must be at least 1 dealership in the lower 48 states that is selling at MSRP, after paying $3k to flatbed transfer to home, still cheaper than paying the markup

Probably not the worst markups, but several SF Bay area dealerships I looked at to buy a base SR Taco were tacking a $5,000 dealer upcharge... which is a lot no matter how you slice it but proportionately it's way more on a $29,000 truck. Their websites had the usual MSRP listed and then you had to click to "get internet price" (which I fucking hate, but whatever)... the price displayed then was MSRP + $5k...

I saw 6 or 7 new 2021 SR and SR5 DCSB 2WD for sale at MSRP at a local dealer today when I went to get my fuel pump replaced. They had no new ORs or any other new Tacoma’s. Had a 2019 used OR at $50k+ lol. Salesman said they’re the only dealer without a above MSRP markup in the state.

$2k market adjustment over msrp for a 2021 4runner offroad in NH. Wife bought it anyway, and picks it up in July

Earnhardt's in Mesa, AZ is selling at flat MRSP and not requiring the dealer add ons (paint protection etc). Other dealers in the Phoenix area were selling at MSRP but requiring the add ons. Picking up my truck on Saturday. Bought it out of state and taking a winding road trip to drive it back to the east coast.

    2021 SR5, 6cyl, 4x4, AC, LB.
Paid MSRP minus the $500 Retired Military rebate at Adam's Toyota in Lee's Summit Missouri - KC metro area.
Initially went in with my sheet from 'Build My Toyota' and the salesman said 'yep, we can do that'.
I was kept apprised of the order date, build date and eventual delivery date which was earlier this week.
No drama, no issues at all. Salesman and dealership have treated me great from the moment I walked in.
Truck is exactly what I wanted and I'm very happy with it.Red SR5##.jpg

Crazy considering a year ago these were going for $500 under invoice.

RIP the pocketbooks of those who frenzy-bought.

The last new (well, only new) Toyota 4x4 ExTra cab pickup I bought was $7,200 brand new off the lot....but that was in 1984 ;)
So I'm good with what I paid for this new one after reading the horror stories on this site about markups and shitty treatment by dealers.
Actually things worked out pretty well overall as I got $100 each for the $125 OEM tires that it came with which made my Wildpeaks 50% of cost.
    Happy Motorin' Folks... ;)
