These are the 4 I have on my 6ft bed. 2004. Same 4 that came on my 8ft bed Tundra. I did add 2 more to the Tundra to try to stop water from entering, it was installed bad. Didn't help. More than 4 on the tiny Taco is probably overkill.

Both my shells are ARE and they take the clamps everyone has been posting.

Your right ,my bad their for the snug top. But I use them on my ARE. There definitely less bulky/intrusive.

In my opinion, this brand can fit your needs. One thing that I want to mention is that in most situations, toggle clamps prices on Amazon are too high. Here's the link to the online platform where I usually buy toggle clamps and other tools https://sandfieldengineering.com/what-we-do/clamps-holding/toggle-clamps/. If you decide; to buy on that platform, feel free to reach me in private messages. I will share with you the free delivery promo code. Have a great day, LIazard!
