Is it cool if a member puts some tires up for sale on here?

I believe new members have to have a minimum number of posts before they can list in the buy and sell

We don't care in this thread (B&S has 50 posts minimum),

    zzzzzzzzzzso it's probably cool here,

now if they are 35" + then it's definitely cool. (but be warned about a Russian invasion, if they are 35+ and a good deal) .

    BUT there is a catch.

You have to post pics of your truck also.

I don’t think there is an issue in specific threads. We don’t care in here. The rules on the forum though is you have to have 50 posts to create a thread. Many have posted links to their adds on Kijiji or else where. I know I have posted deals in here.

Check valve installed, 'cause some azzhole had a good idea.

Installed the pressure regulator and air chuck, covered all the air lines in front with split loom, to make it look more "factory".

I think I'm going to have to paint the shut off valves handles black, to stealth them in a little more...

Now to male / find a cover for the air chuck so it does not collect crap. And make a fancy hose so I can air up multiple tires at the same time.
    You know laziness.

Took about 3 minutes to inflate one tire from 15 to 35 Psi, so that's pretty good.
The regulator slows the last bit of filling down quite a bit, as it it set to 35 psi, but will be handy for just connect and forget.

    Water test showed no bubbles,
and tank pressure gauge has not budged in the past few hows so I think everything is fine.

Just need to paint the fittings on the top of the compressor and the main cooling line and it should be all "stealthed" in.

Will add another solenoid for the drain soon. And the multiple pressure sensors for the brown pants selector.

Will have to take my truck in for the fuel pump recall soon and I plan on having some fun at the dealership.... mwahahaha...

    Pull truck into dealership.

    Service advisor walks up...
" Hey my truck is making a funny noise from the engine compartment on the passenger side, see if you can hear it"

As SA is walking over to the passenger side turn on compressor....

    rumble rumble....

"You ever hear that before? Sounds bad has me worried! Oh yeah, when I press the AC button I hear this hissing sound"

    Press the drain valve button...

"Did you hear where that was coming from? Oh sounds like it's coming from the front driver's side? Lets open the hood and take a look."

Have my thumb hovering over the Horn button on my phone....

    Looks awesome @daks

since I’m waiting on replacement bushings for my upper control arms with less then 3k kms on them I just worked on some other stuff….

    First time welding to cast…..220F9121-3F0C-4895-9ACE-0D259E562C1A.jpg

After pre heating to 400f I did my welding and wrapped the axle up in a welding blanket. Did this extremely slow. Heat and weld the axle tube on one side, wrap and let cool. Then re-heat and weld the truss to the pumpkin on one side, wrap and let cool.

Tomorrow I do it again but on the other side.

Replaced the timing belt and water pump in the Subaru today. Transferred the cooling fans to the new Denso radiator:

    Y-QQf0IwV1I8GV1nU98Apg2uqYLFtcTgpr_s63fl_aae6e507407ad79327c6964d9af748e64097d7f9.jpg

After 10 years, all the exposed fasteners were rusty. My 250 ft-lb Milwaukee stubby impact couldn't rattle the crank pulley bolt off. Remembering a tip from TW's 1st gen section, I put a cheater pipe on a breaker bar, wedged it against the radiator support, and bumped the starter a few times to loosen it:

    dRrByEBdQBhUnaHC1_CEKf4sG5BZyRCIbEFDLn-u_8d3dc1a3fc9ab5d765528139e9da73e75b3098cc.jpg

Remainder of the job went smoothly in accordance with the YouTube how-to videos. The timing belt is a tight fit even with the tensioner still pinned. I used two Dollarama plastic clamps to hold the belt on the cam pulleys. All the parts in the Aisin aftermarket timing kit are easily as good in quality as OEM:

Will replace the coolant and transmission fluid tomorrow.

    Super cool reports @daks @tacoma16 & @3JOH22A

I finally got started on mounting my el-cheapo Amazon ditch/deer lights.I ran my first ever relay and got a switch flush mounted in the rear locker blank (cuz I don’t have one). A little bit of trimming was involved.

Light brackets are all covered in fluid film with a nice chunk of rubber between the bumper and bracket to protect the powder coat. The pre-drilled winch holes on the Arb were handy in the right spots.

So its yea and nay, its a little bit low lying. Less than half is low area.

Seems good to me, I walked it for roughly 4 hours so far. Found 6 property line stakes from the last survey done on it. Gotta love being able to do things others pay people to do :cookiemonster:

More than enough high ground for a beautiful small house with huge garage.

Building regulations for rural areas around here are generally all the same for your garage, you can not have your garage be taller than your house, but can be as many sq ft as you want.

1 story, 4 car garage seems fine to me.
Yea we will be quite sometime completing this adventure. Maybe 2 1/2 years id guess.

If I golfed it would be crazy, around the corner from the local golf club.

My fingers are crossed for you that’s a great area! I live on 2 acres in the woods and 10 would just be wonderful.

Keep your eye out for my almost one of a kind 2006 Tundra......I sold it to a guy from Powassan A little over two years ago.

This is a picture just before I let her go

Not sure how I didn’t make it through this mud hole. I yelled ‘full send!’ at exactly the right time and everything.
