First off amazing Build, very impressive, I have a few questions on the pre runner to 4wd swap. Did you use a stock 4x4 transmission then mated to an atlas? Did you have any computer issues such as ( Limp mode). I am gathering parts to start my double cab build SAS on super duty axles, I see these prerunnners for sale for a reasonable price but the 4wd’s are expensive, I’m just curious if it would be worth it to buy a prerunner and convert it or if it was a major hassle. Appreciate your time.

Yes its a transmission out of a 1997 4runner. No computer issues with the Atlas. The transmission doesn't care what is behind it

    They are insane!

Really this all started with just wanting to cut off/re do the shoddy air bump pads I put on the front axle 7 years ago haha. One was dented from jumping the truck in Pismo too

Is your steering a y link setup? Draglink is mounted to the tie rod? Never knew that or is that new?

New as of a year ago maybe? Less bump steer with this setup and zero chance of heims binding.

Stoked how perfectly this bench seat fits. The rear portion fits directly on the flat part of the “hump” in the floor. Going to use 3/8” pins for the rear seat mount so I can easily pull them and flip the seat forward to access stuff back there.

Nice. wishing I went this route. I had to limit the travel 2.5 inches or so to keep the heims from binding

I'm actually thinking of putting hood struts on it somehow so I just have to pull the pins and the seat lifts itself up

Haaaaaaah! That thing took me forever to make. I am thinking about extending it to meet up close to the rear seat. Would be slick to add 2 more cup holders hahah
