    IMG_5839.jpg Hello everyone,
A few years ago I picked up a used Gen2 Tacoma 2011. Since I was being sent all over the US and hardly ever home my Daughter was driving it. It became her TRUCK and so for the last four years it has been. Well she finally bought herself a new car and so I have my TACO back. It has issues but I like restoring old Military vehicles so I decided to keep the Taco and build her out to be our quick weekend getaway Rig.

My current list of issues. Mechanically she needs (that I know of) new front bearings. Interior wise she needs a deep deep cleaning. Driver seat has typical little tears. Other wise the interior is just dirty with many river outings and soaking wet kids getting in. Body wise is a different matter. Where do I start! Tip to butt I guess so here it goes, needs a new front bumper, grill, headlights, front fenders flares, rear tail light and rear bumper. Not to mention and good deep cleaning of the paint to include rubbing compound, polish compound and multiple wax jobs. I had my daughter at the local Valvoline place to get the oil changed every 3,000 miles and they always found something to flush or change you know what I mean. So fluid, filters and belt wise she's been taken care of.

At this time she has about 137K on the Odometer. As I said She needs new front bearings since I can hear a wine noise from the front. Im pretty sure its the front bearings so I will be replacing them some time after next weekend.

Anyway that's my Tacoma. If anyone has any advice on what I need to replace or should replace at this mileage in her life please feel free to chime in. I will start another thread on her build up over the next few years.

Thank you Buckhunting Tacoma. When I said deployed I didn't mean I was in the Military. I worked for a Contractor on a Government funded project. We were "deployed" as they said all over the US and parts of Canada. I will change that in my intro. Thanks. But When I Bleed, I bleed Red White and Blue. There is no better Country on this planet. Ive been to a lot of them and there in NO PLACE LIKE HOME! Ive been every 40 square mile across the Continental US and Most of Alaska.
