I like the reminder of just how stupid the “average” person is these days. I do find the sticker helpful in damping down my road rage remembering how many people need a sticker to advise them not to stick their fingers under the mower while it’s running.

… and then … I used some of the Noico butyl to insulate the cup holders in my console. I had noticed that during driving in hot weather, the cup holders get hot, presumably from road/engine heat coming through the transmission hump. We shall see how effective this mod is LOL

Hate to say it, but they go where they are appeased. Votes count. It's why I left CA.

Always have one handy. Deadly force isn't always needed. But you still have the right to defend yourself. This is a good way to stop a threat like that . Also, if you are forced to draw your weapons, it doesn't mean you have to necessarily fire it. Sometimes just looking down a barrel is enough to stop the attack. And being assaulted is justification for drawing your weapon.

    Minor stuff.
FINALLY had some time off and a week of jo traveling. Loaded up the truck and went to Island Beach State Park for some night fishing. Caught nothing but made memories that’ll last a life time since it was the kid’s and wife’s first time night fishing and sitting by a camp fire at the beach.

Shouldn’t you match force with equal force. Was taught to never pull a gun unless ones pulled on you. Maybe these laws are different in some other states. Ones fist isn’t a lethal weapon, not sure why one would be drawn. Anyway, it’s a shitty incident that happened. Luckily you are okay and the truck isn’t too damaged. Hope the police catch the person.

Funny. So many other unarmed societies that don’t have the amount of violence in the states. (Sips my tea).

AFAIK you're "brandishing" once it's pulled, which will likely result in an escalation, and could be charged.

The guy leading my class said "if you pull it you best intend to use it." But that same guy also said things about shooting someone on your porch and pulling them inside to prevent legal trouble, so... Maybe not the best source of info on that.

Yes, nothing too bad, just move the tire to the side. I also have a mount for the boards on the on the rack which can also be used. Easy to set up in preparation for a ride.
