    so I broke the piece pictured below off today while greasing my zerks, and I know I'll have to replace it, its full of good grease so I have time, but while I'm in there I might as well replace all of them, and the carrier bearing. Does anybody in Washington have experience in this and would be willing to help me out?

    If the u-joint is still good, you might be able to get the rest of that broken zerk out with an EZ out, put a new zerk in and be on your way.

    The u joint is 130k miles old, thats why I figured I'd just replace them all. Parts aren't too expensive, I'd just like somebody who's done it before to be around to help a dummy out
