What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

So… today I decided to clean the K&N filter on my CAI. I cleaned it with the K&N cleaner. Let it sit for 10 mins. Then rinsed it out. I then let it sit in tge sun for at least 2 1/2 hours. Got ready to go to a friends and slapped it back on then jumped in the truck. It started then died. I restarted it and it was idkeing funny and I reved it up and it didn’t want to rev. It then dies again. And tge A/T high temp light comes on on the dash!!! It’s been sitting since midnight last night and it’s 6:30 today!! Wtf? Anyone have an issue with this? Dude note. I did rinse the engine off before I pulled the filter out. Obviously staying away from said filter with the water. TIA

 

Made me a bed rack so I could put my tent over the diamondback but not loose the function. @DiamondBack Covers

I don’t see why they would not be but I will check. I had one guy tell me it was the fuel pump recall cuz his did the same thing. However I already had that done.

 

This right here. Put a cold air intake on mine last summer. And kept getting light on the dashboard. Took some sensor cleaner from Autozone, put sensor back in, and haven't had any issues since.

 

Now I understand what you’re talking about. The medallions are commemoratives of the BMs of parks we’ve visited. Trust me, not swiping benchmarks from landmarks.

 

Worth checking. I had to repair my sunglasses holder in the overhead and afterwards the dome light wouldn’t work. I checked fuses and all sorts of things. I posted the problem and a member said check the dome light switch position. Sure enough it was OFF. I was grateful (and very humbled).

 

And this is exactly why we need a super like button!

I unplugged the MAF and plugged it back in. Everything seems fine now. Idk. Will see if I get to call into work in the morning!

 

Took the truck to Tennessee this weekend and took it off the pavement for the first time

Went for a drive through the mountains today and justified the @RCI-Offroad skids! Nothing crazy, forest road. Near as we can tell I must have caught the rock that caused this with a tire, and flipped it out of the road and dropped in the hole, probably because the rain we’ve been getting. Seemed like I was taking the better path, even the wife didn’t cringe… until the big THUNK!

Just added the MESO map lights and love them, fairly easy install except for step 1 - removing the entire panel, was rather afraid of breaking everything. After that it was stupid easy and the results are amazing. Now going to order the matching dome lights and the puddle lights if they ever are in stock.

Next on the list are 285/75/16 Ridge Grapplers early July, hope to find some on "super" sale this 4th of July.
