Ok I am going to update this to present state this week. I have a ton of old pics in my archive to share

 

I framed the whole interior myself with help of a few friends.

Electric panel was installed behind the wall surface due to an overlook on my part for the finished wall depth, but IMO still turned out OK


Here's the back left corner, somewhat finished.

 

Put up some automatic garage door openers, connected to the old wifi. Best investment you can ever make if you drive your car in and out regularly.

First and last time my big orange will fit long ways in the shop


The big Ferd takes up alot of the space


Got a cabinet from a fellow from work, super heavy duty and just what I needed


Finished up plumbing the air, left a few lines for an air dryer in the future but for now left it on bypass

 

A few more updates along the way. Air lines were plumbed inside the walls, 3/4" through the ceiling and down to 1/2" drops coming outside the wall


Made a plate and mounted an air reel in the ceiling using unistrut and some lag bolts.

A work bench was donated by a friend, heavy SOB

Old house fridge becomes the new shop fridge

Next up was "traffic light mod", made a bracket and mounted up on the teardrop shelving.








Got some speakers mounted up on a shelves I built out of the leftover wood from framing the interior.



Got the water line connected and pressurized.


A good friend gave a present to compliment the shop, this awesome custom table


And what kind of garage shop would be complete without a nice set of couches to sit and BS, maybe catch some Zzzs after some late night wrenching.

 

A few more updates along the way. Got the radiant heat hooked up, used a power vented HWH on a single zone Taco circulator, works great and super simple.




Got myself a neon beer sign of course


And next mod was the TV install, 65" looks kinda small on the 14' walls


Had a NYE party one year, took all the vehicles out and gathered a bunch of friends, we called it the white trash bash NYE extravaganza. Lots of booze and shenanigans.






Picked up an end cart for my HF box and rearranged where the box sits
