You guys are gonna be pissed when I tell you it's only $65 a year to register my truck here in Pennsylvania...

Now if you tow it'll be a little higher, I think the average class 2 is like $86? I don't really tow anything so I roll "no class"

Is only $38/year for the Camry and Talon. You can also register a big ass Ford Expedition as a passenger car...

 

My '03 Duramax tags are close to $600 because of the weight

What really sucks is VA is trying to take advantage of the higher vehicle prices on both new and used and people are pissed.... There was a story of a guy in the paper who has to pay $580 more now than he did 3 yrs ago for a new car....

 

Thats something that is pissing me off $400 more for insurance on the 4 Runner in NC

They had that personal property tax crap when I lived in Mississippi. Could never buy a new vehicle as I couldn't afford the tags... Insurance premiums were also higher due to the amount of uninsured drivers. Don't even get me started on home insurance down there...

Ouch! Out of curiosity, if you don't mind saying, what's the rough total of your "paperwork" to run your Tacoma for a year?

 

Don't have to be rich for powdercoat, you'll just have less than you do now

 

We have a 2003 GMC 2500HD, 2019 Suburban, and the 2020 Tacoma and insurance on all 3 is around $1,200 a year. Tags/property tax is another 14-1500.

 

Izzat $1,200 combined, or each? I pay right around $1000 USD for everything, just broken up differently. The registration/tag/title piece is <$100, the rest is all insurance. Of course in BC we have mandatory government vehicle insurance, so we get HOSED; probably paying twice what a lot of provinces pay, but overall, I guess the costs aren't wildly different. Thanks for that - always curious about how things here compare with you guys down in North Mexico!

 

The $1,200 for insurance is combined on all 3.

 

I have only ever been to the one in Baltimore that was years ago.

I don`t like Crowds either but it was not bad nice and cool and lots of room.

Well worth seeing at least for me.

Though seeing the Sharks I was soaking wet sweated to the point my jeans were soaked.

Makes alot of sense having to pay extra $ because other people don't have insurance, doesn't it?
