I recently put on a 3 inch lift and put on 285 /70r17 KO2's on and they rub. Can anyone tell me what they have done to fix this?

Depending where they rub, wheel offset and UCAs you have different areas to look at. Maybe :sawzall:cab mount chop, move wheels forward, remove mud flaps, heat and remold inside fenders, hammer pinch weld…

Gotta figure where your are rubbing then figure what’s going to work best for you.

There are 1000s of similar threads about fitting 285s, needs some cutting, new alignment, heat molding, proper wheel backspace etc. Run a search on the forum and you should find your answers in no time.

Start the truck and turn the wheel and look where it is making contact. It is usually at the back of the fender on the plastic inner fender liner. Another place of contact is usually the cab mount. Sometimes an alignment will minimize rubbing and other times cutting is required.

I just cut out the plastic liner and just need to weather proof the exposed metal. Does anybody have good solution. I was thinking of use bed liner spray paint.
