Or just get the bubble blindspot mirrors. I put them on all of my cars, no need to turn my head to check my blindspot anymore. It was a must when I had a softopper on because you can't turn your head and look with the solid sides.

Wish I never sold mine. Most useful accessory you could ever have on a truck IMO. I got rid of it because it was a pain to take off when wanting to putt my motorcycles in the bed but I should have kept it and just used a trailer. Did a cross country trip with my fiance while having the cap and we were able to fit pretty much our entire lives in the back and also use it for sleeping while camping. Got that thing for $300. Just didn't want it taking up space at my parents place since I moved to the city for work.

Also waiting for mine, Leer R 100? the basic of the basic Leer canopy. After reading other threads on here I opted for the headliner, roof rack and the sliding window to the cab (I think). Excited, cap-it in Abby BC gave approx 8/12 weeks. Was told not the best truck bed design for waterproofing and also if using forest service roads to periodically ensure all the clamps remain tightened. Read the reviews for the place, weren't the best but alas. Just needed the extra secure space. Can't wait!

I didn't want to buy a cap, but the truck is for a working dog. He's got a first class set up in the bed with the awning windows and a fold down front window. It's not been limiting, but it's primarily a canine vehicle. There is still room for other items if I need to haul a power washer, bags of gravel or cement or 2X4's (Although I can't afford the 2X4's these days.......).
