Finally getting my cap

So, I got my first brand new truck at 57 years old here, no loan, paid in full at the end of March. Got a 2021 DCLB SR5 Barcelona Red with 6 foot bed. Back on April 20, I ordered a Leer 180 with screened sliders, carpeted, and the optional slider front window. I finally got the message that it will be in sometime this week. Looking forward to this being done. It's scheduled for installation next Friday. We've already talked about the usual leak area and they do a good amount of Tacomas so they know what needs to be done. The only things I have to do before next Friday are to pull the plastic bedrail caps and silicone the inboard side of the bedrail tops ( using silbond RTV 4500) and put the plastic caps back on. I also need to get the clear vinyl tape on the tailgate where the caps door gasket rests against the tailgate. Now I can use those Home Depot cards my daughter gave me to get some 3/4 ply and some 2 by's for a sleeping deck and enjoy some summer camping just bumming around at the NH/ME coast.
