2018 Stock LED DRL boards

These came out of my 2018 tacoma. I replaced these white DRL’s with Diode Dynamics amber units. They work great. The dust cover was cut out of each and simply need to be reconnected but haven’t done so yet in case someone wanted to slide the wires through another dust cover.

Any tips for busting the headlights open? I've read the bhlm thread, but anything you did differently would do differently now that you've done this?

 

Leave your oven on and keep reheating them as needed, and impatience leads to trying to rush to crack them and then you crack them. The factory seal is a tough one to get out and it just takes patience and working at it. I started it at 4 PM and went till 1:30 AM, then worked on it from 8 AM to noon. That also included dealing with the bumper sections and wiring. I like how it turned out.

What were the wire colors from the DRL to the factroy wires? I'm stuck and can't find anything.
