Took the plunge

Oh the memories! Pretty much had to euthanize my 1st Gen '06 Tundra 4x4 doublecab with only 140k this past weekend. She served me VERY well but could no longer give me the confidence needed due to back issues (frame). Had a very pleasant experience at Tarbox Toyota which began Saturday with my salesman pointing to the upper lot and said "We have a nice white Tacoma up there you should look at". Well I RAN up there and only saw one white Taco- a 4x2 4cyl!
Are you effen kidding me I thought, didn't he see what I had driven into the dealership for crying out loud and stormed out of there pffffftttt! Sunday I drove it off the lot LOL!
Why you ask? Well truth be told there are lots of reasons that came in an epiphany overnite.
1)- No longer really offroad at all.
2)- No longer tow anything aside from tiny utility trailer.
3)- I'm old, the GF is old, the dogs old, kids are now grown.
4)- I CAN NEITHER AFFORD NOR WILL I EVER PAY 60k+ FOR A VEHICLE.
5)- Don't see gas getting any more affordable EVER.

Yes my ego is bruised just a tad but happier than a pig in sh!t
