SHOPPING FOR BOYFRIENDS TRUCK!

(Sorry if this isn’t the correct forum, I just made this account for this site and I’m not too sure how to work it)
My boyfriend has a 2018 Toyota Tacoma, 2 door- Please forgive me for the fact that I really have no idea what I’m talking about when it comes to his truck, hence why I need some help! He’s been looking into getting a topper for his bed (Im not sure if there’s an exact name for this, but obviously not just the flat cover but the actual topper, and i know he wants one of the hard ones, not soft)- so for his birthday I was going to buy him one, and rather than just ask him which one he likes, I wanted to be able to surprise him with it! He talked about “Leer” tops but I was curious what brands are great and you guys recommend- Price isn’t too much of an issue, but I also dont want To go crazy expensive best of the best.

Honestly, these can be optioned out many different ways. It's awesome you want to do this and surprise him with it, but he may want different things than you pick. I'd just tell him what you want to do and let him pick it so he's happy.

The topper dealer will show you the options for the topper such as led lights, windoors, headliner, etc. You can pick the options out if you want to surprise him or you can ask him what he wants for his topper from the topper options...

For a neophyte, the money issue may (or may not) be a shock. Prepare to shell out at least $2,000 for a new Leer or ARE topper. (With all the options, some of these may push $3,000. ) And right now, there's a looong lead time between ordering and delivery. When is his birthday?
