I'm a long-time Toyota fan. Drove a '69 4-door Corona in high school! Have also owned a 4-Runner, a Corolla, a Highlander, and four '02-'06 Tundras. Just bought my first Tacoma last year and love it. 2020 Cement Tacoma TRD - Phoenix AZ.

 

Picking up our 21 TRD off road today. Hello from Washington state.

 

WELL, THANKS FOR THE INVITATION to the off roading adventure,,, I WOULD LUV TO JOIN THE OFF ROAD ADVENTURE! BUTT, I do not go off the road unless, #0, I've been drinkin, #1. I have a major mechanical problem, and I've been drinkin, #2, there is a major OHP/traffic construction/ Road/Rage incident, and I've been drinkin #3, I run out of concrete roadway and I've been drinkin & 4, IF there is a "Run-a-way 18 wheeled Freight Liner, bearing down on my rear bumper and it looks like He is doing 90mph "Blowing his Horn" and I' and I've been drinkin, trust me, I will get off of the concrete road way. Any way thx but No Thx.. I appreciate the offer maybe another day when I'm not drinkin, I have my camp set up in the N.E. OKLAHOMA hills and Just want to enjoy the American Dream, thank you very much for the invite!

Toyota trucks have served my family well. I currently have a 1994 4Runner, 1999 land cruiser, and a 2016 Tacoma.

 

1998 Tacoma 2WD in my possession since 2020 prior to covid I believe. Last year was a whirlwind as I am a part time nurse in long term care as well as a Toyota owner and slave. My passion is my 87 FJ60 that I assembled its engine on (overbored cyclinders, new pistons, etc) after finding broken piston landings and rings on three. I've had her since '16. She is my number three Yota. I bought the Taco as a garden/bee truck. I am a new beekeeper, single M-Th mom to a recent turned 8yo son and small farm/chicken owner.
My boyfriend begrudgingly has been driving my taco around since xmas because his '69 C10 had a freeze plug blow and since then he has been slowly chipping away at having the engine rebuilt by a local 70 yo mechanic. Work and life in the way so everything is taking 50% longer than we all hope.
I adore the taco but her TLC has been neglected due to him needing to keep it rolling until his truck is back together. My 60 rolls great but I have a leak from behind the front plate so the cam has to come back out (done it before in the driveway prior to engine rebuild when I discovered a walked cam bearing). Been letting my bees take most of my free time attention... maybe a tad burned out on engine.

 

NGUY1974 - nice 60! I have a 100 Land Cruiser, but the 60's are the best looking to me.
