Foodies BS Thread.

My daughter wants to become a dietician because she loves food and getting into the nutritional values etc. She wanted to experiment with plant based so we tried some tofu - pan fried, air fried, grilled. I was not a huge fan, but it was actually better than I expected.
Then this past weekend we made burgers with veggie patties and black bean patties. Again not a big fan, but it was okay. Our take on it was that it is okay if you want to eat it as a veggie burger, but not as a meat substitute burger, because there is no substitute for meat.

Left side is the black bean patty and right side is the veggie patty. It was funny biting on the veggie patty, as a "meat substitute" and pieces of corn and split peas fall out of it.

Stuffed with a mixture of cream cheese, Ranch Dip Mix, black pepper, red pepper flakes, fresh minced garlic and chopped bacon

 

Bacon and pork? You savage!

 

Looks great! Last time i made stuffed porkcop i over cooked them...
