Mud getting between bed body and bed liner.

    I was driving down a very muddy dirt road the other day, and I had my tonneau cover on. When I opened the cover, I found that mud had somehow got up under the plastic cap on top of the bed sides. I can’t figure out what path the mud would have taken to get there, especially since it’s not on top of the caps, and the wheel wells are completely intact. Is this normal?

    There is no bed liner. The space the mud came from is between the tail light and the wheel well. Get down on the ground and look up there.

    Normal. It can be stopped by removing the bed caps and sealing with silicone. There’s eleventy billion holes underneath the bed caps.
