949 steering wheel extension/spacer installed. This 6’8” Driver is very happy with it! It provides great leg room and arm rest from always being at full extension to steer! I have lots more pics of the install maybe I’ll do a separate thread if anyone is interested. Edit, full tread posted in 3rd gen Tacoma forum for any interested.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Look at the WeatherTech bug deflector. No drill attachment and I can get my hand behind it to clean. Only pic I have now, but you can see the clearance and it doesn't flex. And it covers a nice portion of the fender as well.

Just recently installed mine, too! I agree that it’s a vast improvement for those of us with long legs.

I'm interested in a write-up if it's convenient for you. do you keep any telescoping for adjustability with that? looks like you have a Loncky kit similar cover as well?

All it does extend your wheel 2.2” you maintain all stock functionality pertaining to telescoping and steering wheel buttons. Not sure I understand the lockny kit comment or what that is but I’ll post the install thread later today. Was pretty easy took like 1.5 hours being cautious. If he to do it again I could dot it in near 30 mins. Also need to select the wiring harness option at check out to extend the button control wires. Too tall was 305.00 so worth it if your a tall person!

Make a thread! I’m interested in the install and more info. I’m only 6’4” but would like a little more knee/thigh space.

On my 2018 I did Pop & Lock and it was okay. My new truck I bought OEM online and it was a world of difference. The plug & play is the ticket and IMHO the OEM is a lot better quality. I'm not bashing P & L, just applauding OEM.

Do you guys with oem roof racks have gaps like this? Just wondering if it's normal or if theres something can do to have it all perfectly flush.

It should be flush. There is a clip up front (near that yellow spot in the pic) that a screw goes into. It may be loose or missing. Mine was gone when I put my after market on. Warranty? Have the dealer look at it.

    Yep
I bought my 3rd gen a few years old from my buddy who had upgraded the suspension and put in a "leveling" kit. Unfortunately, I think I tend to keep more of a load on the bed than he did, so it caused the back end to sag a bit.

I took out the one inch blocks in the back and put in two inch blocks. It looks great and rides great. I can actually see a little better as the nose is not up now.

How are you liking that SkyCamp Mini? I've been seriously considering getting one to put on the cab of my truck, and storing other items on the rack on my bed cap. Just trying to see if the price can be justified.

Added 5" oval nerf bars so my dad could get in and out easier. He loves them and I think they look great. Really had a tough fit with rust on one of the bolt threads. Should have been 30 minutes but instead it was 3 hrs of back and forth to get the right screw tap and clean up the threads and an extractor to remove the broken bolt. It's never as easy as it should be.
