Came back from the store and window wouldn't power up. Tried the button 2/3 times, and window came up an inch. Between the power button and pulling on the glass, 4/5 times, I got it up half way, then the window went up the rest of the way. My initial thought is the motor is shot. I doubt the gears would be stripped, as I didn't hear any grinding.

Anyway, guess I'm going to have to remove door panel and replace motor. Any help would be appreciated: part numbers, any issues to disassemble and replace motor? Will need to price/find a motor, I've bought from Newparts.com before, any other sites to price the motor?

Any and all help appreciated. Ah, 2010 access cab. Drivers' side window.

By chance, Did you recently have to door slam OPEN.
There’s been plenty of people on this forum have the wind slam to the door open
When this happens, the window track is usually what gets damaged.

BTW, Jamie knows how to remove the door panels :D

Wonder if Jammie makes house calls?

TnShooter, yeah, last week, the wind caught the door a couple times and maxed out the hinge of the door.
