I bought mine from Tacoma Town. They had free shipping. They have free shipping on again now. $120 for a 5 foot bed. https://www.tacomatownonline.com/

Assuming you could find the same material and get it in the same thickness, I would think the weight would keep it in place for the most part. The nubs that keep the other bed mats elevated would be a different story. That might be one of those trade offs for a cheaper option.

Just bought mine from Norm Reeves Toyota San Diego for $80.50. Used the FREESHIP code! They even called me a few minutes later and told me they're sending it out today.

Go with the OEM. You get the "TOYOTA" logo.
(The OEM fit is perfect. My previous Tacoma had an off-brand one. It was the same material but I had to trim it in a few places to fit properly.)

I had an old rubbermaid bed mat in my 80's something toyota 4x4 pickups with open beds. . It weigh a ton, and would not stay in place well at highway speeds. I was always worried if i rode with the tailgate down i'd lose it. To this date that same bed mat is being used on my garage's concrete floor.

I had a BedRug in my Taco and I liked it well enough. Soft on the knees, but it loved to collect dirt and wasn't great at preventing things from sliding.

Then my 3 gallon RotoPax mounted to the front bed wall (under my BakFlip) ruptured, sprayed gas all over my BedRug. I have tried but don't think I will ever get the gas smell out of that thing.

Ordered the OEM mat ... should be here tomorrow!

When I got my bed mat I used parts.toyota.com.
I went and searched for the mat. Then looked at the dealerships online near me. And picked the one with the lowest price which was in Suitland MD outside of DC for me. They were having a site wide free shipping offer on orders over $75 and the mat was like $83.
They have the free shipping deal often like nearly every holiday so look for that before you buy because shipping cost if you have to pay for it on a heavy mat is a deal breaker.

Not sure how it works with Canada. Maybe you have a similar site.
