    2300 peeps here in Brookfield lost power. Eversource doing something. And even with the generator, internet is also down. Spectrum also out.

    @Cativelense now is the time. Everyone is on vacation, there are no applicants on indeed/monster. Now is the time to actively look for a job. In Aug all the hiring folks are on vacation. In september everyone is back, kids in school, unemployment runs out & the tidal wave of applicants will commence. Too late to look for work. Just do it & do it now, commit to it & you'll be negotiating between job choices.
    @Bridge4 makes a good point, anyplace that seems like you'd enjoy - ask if they're hiring. It's a better way to get an interview than as yet another online applicant.
    Don't forget to apply for work at town hall in Brookfield, Danbury, new Fairfield. Great Benefits with those town jobs.
