A few dirty moves in the play. Like kneeing a guy in the face. Le Michael James getting hit while he's already down. The last few minutes got exciting.

The farm boys down South are just bigger and stronger over all. Just look at the size difference in all the players.

There are many legends about this.. I'm not sure which i believe. But here is an interesting one.

There are many urban stories surrounding the origin of "war eagle," but the most popular one tells about the first Auburn football game in 1892 between Auburn and the University of Georgia. While the game was going on, an old Civil War veteran walked to the edge of the field to watch the game. This character had long ago found an injured golden eagle on a battlefield and had kept it as a pet. The eagle jumped from his shoulder and started circling the field while the game went on.

Fans on the Auburn side started to cheer "war eagle" when they saw the eagle circling and after the game ended with Auburn victorious, the eagle supposedly crashed into the center of the field and died. Since then, "war eagle" has become not only a battle cry for the Auburn sports teams, but also a greeting among Auburn students and alumni.

    That's what I've heard too.

Can't hate on War Eagle, just think about other teams chants like Auburn... Where did they come up with theirs?

First, please look up the difference between your and you're. And yes, I am a 'very Alabama fan.'

Second, type "auburn, dirty player" into Google and see what you get. It's not just me. I even said he's a fantastic player aside from the extra shit he does, but he does play dirty sometimes. I understand that he's on your team, and I get why you defend him, but don't think that I'm just some bammer hating on the guy b/c he wears orange and blue.

Seemed to me like he was giving props to the guy. I don't see how that's bad.

The kid shoves people's face into the ground, pushed his facemask into Aaron Murray's neck and scraped it up to his face, headbutted Murray in the back about 3 seconds after he got rid of the ball, then hit him late at his knees. Seems pretty legit to me.

He's a really good player, but he's a straight up thug. Makes me wonder how many times he'll be arrested after he gets all this money and thinks he's invincible.

I'm a Bama fan, but I was pulling for Auburn and glad that they won. I don't have to hate on other teams just because my team didn't make it to the big game this year.

I didn't really care who won in the end all that much. I was pulling for Oregon though. SEC sure owns college football right now though.
