I’ve been dangerously considering selling my baby, 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road with 77,000mi on the ODO that I bought new. I’ll probably chicken out, but it led to me creating this itemized list this morning just to see where things stand (made me choke a little bit when I saw the total and I’m still missing some items I’m sure) The trucks paid off, and so are all the parts and pieces. Which is a godsend, and of course now I’m itching to move on with the market the way it is right now. But anyway I was curious how many peeps have done this, it’s kind of a wild experience breaking it all down.

Nice truck! I've never kept track of how much I spent on different hobbies.

Thank you, yea it was a little bit of a wow moment seeing it before my eyes. Give her a try if you have the means. I was lucky to have pretty much all the digital receipts in my email.

I do a spreadsheet of all my mods, cost, date they were installed along with mileage, in addition to all of that with maintenance. Helps me keep track of things and it's nice for the next owner. Crazy how fast stuff adds up, though, and feel my truck is barely more than stock compared to others here.

This crazy used Tacoma market definitely has my wheels turning, too, but I'll likely just keep it another 10 years. This one isn't even broken in yet at 66k.

Yup you sound dialed. I’ve got a similar mindset, and hindsight I’d document every detail like you did! But yea I’m probably gonna keep her as well, but when the wheels get turning… the wheels get turning, lol.

Done by me: decals, plastidip, and vinyl. More to come. Not done by me: Icon front/rear suspension; Total Chaos UCA’s; Method wheels/34” Falken tires; Prinsu cab rack/LED light bar; V1Air compressor piped to a 2.5 gallon underbed tank; Pelfreybilt front/rear bumpers; Smittybilt front winch.
This is a neat list for several reasons, cost analysis of upgrades, and upgrade possibility for specific years. I’m excited about the thought of adding on that rear view mirror. That’s one of the few creature comforts I kind of miss: the temp/compass my ‘17 had now that I’m back to a ‘15.

I agree, felt so cheated when I bought this truck and didn’t have a means of knowing the temp outside. I was like why?!
