Need some advice here- re: Leaf Springs

I am doing a 2.5 Elka Setup on my 2021 running 17" TRD Wheels. I have the shocks, UCA's already bought. Need some leaf spring guidance.

Wondering what leaf pack I should upgrade to... Was looking at the All Pro Expedition, Deaver Stage 2, or OME HD.

I will be adding a camper shell and putting the full size spare in the bed along with some tools/recovery gear. When I camp, I pitch a tent on the ground next to my truck vs Overland style. This is my hunting/flyfishing/snowboarding rig. I also daily drive it.

Thinking if I go too heavy it will be overkill and trash the ride. Thoughts/advice welcomed.

If deaver is an option go with deaver, many complain about OME quality excessive squeaking and sagging fairly quickly.

Deaver stage 2 may be too stiff for your light load, don’t count out their stage 1.

I have Deaver stage one with an RSI on the bed. I also tow m100 jeep trailer from time to time. It's perfect!

Not as good as going with the correct leaf pack. With air bags and stock springs you loose down travel and no bump stops.

As someone who went from Dakars to Deaver, pick Deaver. Skip OME. Trust me.1C0694ED-E713-47C9-A6B6-53E23FCFD959.jpg

Deavers 100%. If you're carrying 450+ lbs of constant weight 90% of the time, go with stage 2. If not go with stage 1.

I have almost this exact same setup on my truck; ie: camper shell, full size spare, and a footlocker/tote full of recovery gear and basic repair gear. I swapped from the Toytec AAL to the Deaver U402 Stage II. Just got back from a 5 day wheeling trip in Co and after feeling the Deavers work I’d say the Stage 2 was the perfect choice for me. They were a little high right after install but have settled very well after running them hard in the mountains all last week. Coming off obstacles/rocks they feel like butter and support the weight very well. Driving fast down bumpy roads and they absorb the ruts and bumps smooth also. YMMV but this has proven to be a great upgrade for my truck.

Deavers with Timbren off road bump stops is hard to beat.

I went OME HD. I regret it. Now trying to afford a swap before I post these for sale.
