Is it difficult to get it open

 

I mount mine sideways on my own designed dashtop RAM mount.

look at this... Its going to get a couple tweaks but its done, just needs some field testing. Production runs will be anodized black, maybe red if people really want that.

 

Does anyone have any steps on how to wire a USB internally and not the exposed route that many have done?

Does anyone else have an issue with the slim grip holster? Not a major issue here, but the top two clips tend to rattle around in the thing while I drive without a phone in it.

Anyone else have a problem getting a ball to tighten all the way down? Had to stop, was going to snap the head off. Wasn’t cross threaded.

 

Curious if anyone has used the smaller magnet on a bicycle?
Been thinking about getting a handlebar mount and using the magnet with it, but wonder if the harder bounce of a bicycle would pop my phone off the magnet.
In the truck, the magnet holds the phone tight no matter what, could it work as well on some handlebars?

IG you are talking about the mighty magnets, we have used those off road. They hold up really well even with the large iPad Pro. So I believe the magnet should be able to hold to your phone for mountain biking. That being said, mileage will vary depending on your bike’s suspension and the trail you’re on. Riding a hard tail downhill at whistler will probably cause the phone to fall off
