    There's no reason to go with iridiums. Your original plugs have made it to 167k miles. Stick with Densos.

    Agree. No advantage to iridiums.

    Stick with the recommended plugs on the service schedule. Copper plugs are less than $3/ea will run for 30K (service interval). 2 changes in 100K miles will cost about $40 or 0.04 cents/mile. That is friggin' cheap.

    Iridiums perform just fine, I’m aware of the differences between the two. I have never had an issue.

    Let’s focus on the real issue here: the old plugs.

    The old plugs are not an issue......you replaced them.

    Or did you put the old plugs back in????
