    It’s a Bryant Preferred Series 4-ton (48,000 BTU) unit that I helped pick out!

    Good afternoon; I got a bit drunk yesterday (this included homemade moonshine from my old boss’s friend). However, it was Porter who ended up getting sick this morning and barfing not only in his crate, bur all over the damn house!

    :annoyed:

    Took well over an hour to clean it all up!

    Part of what exacerbated this is that I woke up at about 3:49 this morning and could not get back to sleep. I heard Porter making a weird but familiar noise just before 7am while I was still trying to get back to sleep, and looked over to see that the poor guy had puked in his crate and was trying to eat it…

    :puke:

    So, I brought him downstairs, let him out to use the bathroom, and attempted to feed him. His appetite was virtually nonexistent, so I let him out again (to poop this time) and then went back up to bed. It was during this time my parents tried several times to call me because my mom had seen him puking on the Near cameras, and they thought I was passed out drunk when I was really just trying to catch up on sleep (I didn’t even get a hangover, and I’m 99% sure I was sober before 5am). My parents called first a little after 7am and I was a little short with them because I’d just let the dog out and merely wanted to go back to bed; My dad assumed I was being grumpy because of the “celebrating” I did last night, but I insisted that I only wanted to go back to bed. I eventually did get back to sleep and slept until well after 11, waking up to a frantic call from my mom that Porter had thrown up multiple times; Porter’s mess has since been cleaned up and we’re still at a total loss as to what upset his stomach, though my neighbor thinks it was partially due to stress from the fireworks being set off…

    Now he’s resting comfortably and on a very strict diet until his stomach settles…

    I also unpacked the Westin Bull Bar today to make sure it wasn’t damaged and all of the parts were installed, but not before opening up my new American flag license plate that I ordered on Amazon

    I paid an extra $30 or so for the Westin “license plate relocation kit” for two reasons…

    First and foremost, I’ve been wanting to get a vanity plate for years. I have ziptied them to the bumper before, but always ended up removing them a short time later because I didn’t like the look. I live in Pennsylvania, and a front license plate is not required here.

    Second of all, mounting a plate directly to the stock bumper requires drilling directly though the bumper, and I obviously do not want to do that! If I do end up moving state that requires two license plates someday, I won’t have to drill through the front bumper now!

    A lot of the trees in my parents’ neighborhood were dying, so when the HOA hired a new landscape company, they replaced pretty much every tree in the neighborhood; Unfortunately, they chopped down the healthy tree directly in front of our house, which my mom was not too happy about. My parents were willing to pay out of pocket to have that one tree (the same one I backed the Tacoma up to in order to decorate it with Christmas lights a few years ago) relocated to the backyard, but the new tree butchers chopped it down…

    :(:mad::annoyed:

    We had these green watering bags called “Tree Gators” that we brought from our old house, and unlike the new donut thingies I’m about to show you, they went up to roughly the center of the tree trunk…

    I have dubbed these things “tree donuts” for obvious reasons; We are about to enter another heat wave here in Southeast Pennsylvania, so I filled them in anticipation…

    My neighbor from across the street thought I was crazy for doing this because in his opinion they don’t work very well; They do have a tendency to leak when completely filled up, so I think he’s sorta right…
