I once read the epa compensates their fuel economy ratings by 3% for ethanol fuel use already. I even think they have done testing already using ethanol blended fuels.

I have had some Gen 1's, wish I would have kept.
This '04 is a keeper, all maintenance up to date. We were checking off options on a '21 Off Road Tacoma, 4X4, rep left to see the boss, came back with a sheet, the exact unit was alloted to them this month. We were able to add s few more options, received the temp VIN the next day, and last week they called, build date 7/26.
With what is going on with inventory and sales, Lady Luck shined on us that day.

If you read the excerpt I posted closely you’ll see the EPA actual reduces ratings 10% for ethanol, wind, hills and road conditions. I read somewhere EPA testing is done on a roller test stand at various speed protocols so that makes sense.
