Pretty sure my timing belt finally gave way today. Does anyone have a shop they trust around far north Dallas? Especially one that won't gouge me? I'm considering the getting the head gaskets done too, since you have to remove the timing belt anyway.

Thread is a month old so not sure if you’ve gotten the work done yet. But Christian brothers has always been my go to for routine stuff like that. Specifically the one at Bush and Midway since that’s where I live. Also had them assemble my front bilsteins before I installed them and they did the alignment afterwards. Always standup and honest. I once took my old ranger in for what I thought was an AC issue. One of the techs spent 4 hours on it and found no issues and refused to charge me diag fee because he didn’t want me to pay for a non-issue.

A bit far for me, but I’m willing to drive for a great shop.
    Thanks for the feedback!!

Goode's Offroad is in Rowlett - they're the farthest north that I know/recommend.

Ratchet Brothers in Fort Worth have been fantastic in all aspects. It’s a bit of a drive for you but knowing you’re in good hands would make the drive worth it IMO
