I have the oem size tires on currently 265/70/16.
Looking to get something bigger. Any suggestions? Looking for an A/T tire as I am both on and offroad. I dont do any crawling, but lots of mud (hunting, camping, etc.)
For reference, the truck has the Toytec Boss 2.0 installed.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks! I will look into something skinnier. Although, I do like the look of something a little wider.
I like the topper. It's the Bestop topper. The only complaint us the rear bar the comes with it. Having the bar installed makes it a pain to load anything into the bed. So, I just took it off and haven't had an issue.

285/75 look better. The Cooper stt pro and the falken wildpeaks at/3 are nice. I only run an E rated tire. The cooper are the best tires I have run. I’m running the falkens E rated. It has way more tread than the c rated which wear terrible. The falkens can get a lil lose initially in cold wet weather. But are great on and off-road

The OP has 16” wheels and if he installs 265-75-16 tires, which are the same height as 265-70-17, the will have a taller tire without buying new wheels and no rubbing.

Cuz I have a bad habit of owning multiple rare/odd wheels for my vehicles.
The 17” are 8lbs heavier per wheel, and I was doing a long road trip and swapped to the lighter 16”. Very noticeable in how the truck drives with the lighter wheels. 32lbs of rotational weight is about 320lbs of chassis weight.

    265/75/16 Duratracs for the Win.

Best rain rating, 3 peak now designation, thankfully come in a C load, and they look & are aggressive without the M/T noise.

They also have the best rim protection out there. No brainer.

Only wish they came in a 255 pizza cutter size.

Respectfully still dont understand your logic...:rasta:

Why didn't you put all 4 16" rims on for the road trip?

I put 275 Wildpeak AT/3 Tires on my Stock Off Road. They have been great tires and an upgrade from the stock tires.

I have Falken Wildpeak AT/3Ws and like them. To be honest though I have never really felt the huge differences in tire performance that people talk about. Seems like most that are reasonable quality perform about the same.

For me the Wildpeaks had much better performance in the rain. I don’t really go off-road, so on street performance swayed me to them.

E rated has more thread than C? You sure? I have never ever seen that. I know any LT tire will have more thread than SL or P.

Toyo open country AT3, duratracs, KO2s, wilpeaks, cooper discoverers, general grabbers, and nitto ridge grapplers are all great choices. I’m sure I’m forgetting some.

My next set will be either KO2 or duratracs, had great experience with both.

Wildpeaks are WAY better in snow than the stock GY's. Especially deep stuff.
