Ive got a manual 14 with 110k miles with a weird knock, rattle, click that happens at around 2500-3500 rpm in every gear but only when im on the gas at least a little bit.

The click doesn’t speed up with the engine or change frequency at all, just gets louder as the rpms climb.

i removed the cat shields thinking that was it and added washers to all the heat shield nuts but cant for the life of me find it.
    Its not throwing any codes.
    Clutch was replaced at 100k.

    thanks for the help!

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
What weight motor oil are you using?

I would want to say that since it clicks in every gear its more likely an engine related issue rather than clutch/trans

Lightly depress your clutch pedal next time its doing it, but don't let off the gas at the same time. Not much, just enough to load up the system. Make sure it's making noise when you push on the pedal. I have a similar rattle that I've narrowed down to the clutch pedal and master cylinder attachment point. It's a ball and socket joint that rattles. It doesn't happen all the time. For me it only rattles under load, usually in at least 3rd gear or higher, and always at higher RPM's. I adjusted the free play per the manual and tried both extremes of over and under and it doesn't matter, thing still rattles.

Tried this out the last few days, the clicking does stop once the clutch is about 50% in.

Looks like i'll be playing with the master cylinder/pedal this weekend

    Update on this...
Had the dealer check it out and they said it was a rod or a main bearing.
Quoted me $11k for an engine rebuild or $9.6k for a replacement.
