OK, Luke @DanishTaco - got to playing around with emptying the trouble bag and Ez-Up stuff into the Decked. A few things went into the little corner ammo boxes, and no pics for that. And when I measured the Ez-Up, versus drawer length - it did NOT know (or accomodate) the inset of the drawer handle molding. I had to punt. Also, a folded up Ez-Up is NOT as flexible on the legs as one might think, once you try to stuff it inside. So, the Ez-Up fits a narrow drawer, FEET FIRST. And didn't allow for my sand bags at all.

So, the first run on the wide drawer - small DBox tool box at the back; jump/charger, one big rescue strap, rain poncho; Big D-Box (empty, because I bought it to be a ice box!); bungies. Bottom pic, cooler DBox goes to garage, and sand bags go there.

Would you have more room, with homemade ? YES. At present, it would cost at or a little more than what my used Deck cost. This will work for me, as I have emptied stuff out of the cab as well. Still feels good with this as a load.

Looking good! Do you still have access to that little power cubby you made with the 12volt? Next to the 110 outlet?

    Also... whats an Ez up?

I don't (never had) have the 110 on the Preunner. I made my little console on the drivers side, and relocated to that ammo box. And, portable shade!

OK, question for ANYone who might have messed with these two bolts. There are (2) 10 mm bolts on the TOP of each side of the metal riser at the back of the bed. They are not part of tail light removal, and they don't SEEM to be in any part of removing the bed. I removed the front bolt on each side, no problem. On the rear bolt, it started coming out, but even with little, one handed torque, I snapped the driver side right off. Trying the passenger, I was cautious, and stopped with resistance.

Is there a nut I have to get behind it? Remove the tail light? (I can do that). I can't find a thing. Needless to say, it's a hard Google search to specify Any help or experience appreciated.

    THANKS. Really appreciate the pic!
I know what to do now. I did find that they are the top of the rear sill, but the article didn't even mention removing them to remove the sill. EZ out, rust breaker, and patience!

Also I just found out my passenger taillight was held in with silicone since the tabs are broken off. Guess I’ll need a new one of those eventually. A tube of silicone will have to do for now.

I guess that must be common in our old 2nd gens! My "original" pair didn't match, and I only found out when I got replacements. They each had a broken tab. Then, I sold the replacements, and got the 2013 OEMs from @hoverlover! Find a new pair - easier than fixing!

    Morning Kevin

:plane: Good Morning SA! Get to be mobile today. Hair, Harbor Freight, Lowes (probably both), UPS drop, WalMart.... get all those trips lumped into one!

Gave the new system some "reality tests" yesterday. Can I haul the odd recycling run on top with minimum fuss? With the net, sure. Can I show my colors? Sure! I think this is gonna work out for me.

I just stuck is back in with silicone for now so I can drive it.
I started looking at replacement sets this morning . There’s no fixing this one, the tabs are completely gone. I might have to put some more silicone along the edge by the tailgate just to make sure it sticks.

The 2012+ OEM lights look pretty good I take it? I’d prefer to avoid aftermarket LEDs if I can, unless there are some that actually have a tasteful design.

This is as inexpensive as I have seen. It is plug and play. The center stop is built in LED, but uses the same plug. I left my replaced LED turn and reverse in - they work fine. Cool benefit, the side of the center ring also has a "marker" LED that no one mentions. I run the parking lights as DRL, so works perfect. Housings are not subject to near the wear as headlights, so they should last "forever".
